Recruitment conversations may also generate interview notes, availability and role-related communications. We may receive relevant professional information from public profiles, referrals, clients or other recruitment contacts. Where references or background checks form part of an agreed process, we will explain the information needed and any applicable choices before arranging them. Please share only information relevant to your enquiry or application.Our website and service providers may process technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device details, access logs and privacy preferences, to operate and secure the services.

Our basis for using information

Withdrawal does not change processing that was lawful before the withdrawal.

Applications and Recruiterflow

We use Recruiterflow to manage recruitment records and applications. Role-specific applications are associated with the relevant vacancy, and open applications help us understand your background and interests. Viewing or filtering jobs does not submit an application. Recruiterflow processes recruitment information for us as a service provider.

Its own website and services may also have privacy notices for activities it controls directly.
When you use a hosted application form,review the notices provided there. Our website cookie settings do not control cookies or storage on a separate application website.

Who receives information

Information is available to authorised Worthland personnel and service providers that support our recruitment, hosting, communications and administration. We share only information appropriate to the service and purpose.For an application to a particular employer, we may share relevant application information with that employer as part of the process. For an open application or another proposed introduction, we will discuss the opportunity and the intended introduction with you before sharing your profile, subject to applicable requirements.

Employers receiving information may have their own privacy responsibilities and notices.We may disclose information where required by law, to respond to a lawful request or to protect legal rights. Any new use of your information will be assessed against the purposes communicated to you andthe requirements that apply.

International processing

Worthland recruits internationally. Your information may be accessed or processed in Canada, in countries where our authorised team works, and in countries where the relevant employer or service provider operates. Laws in those countries may differ from those in your location, and information may be accessible to courts or authorities there.

We remain responsible for the information we control and use appropriate contractual or other safeguards where required. Contact us for information about the processing arrangements relevant to your recruitment relationship.

Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed for the purposes explained in this policy. Relevant factors include whether we are handling an active enquiry or recruitment process, maintaining a relevant candidate relationship, complying with legal obligations or retaining records needed to address a dispute.
