Role Description:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic PR & Communications Manager to join our client, a leading Ethereum Layer 2 platform (listed on Binance). In this role, you will lead the company’s strategic communications and media relations efforts, overseeing media relations, agency partnerships, and supporting go-to-market PR strategies for new launches. This is a global position, engaging with media and partners across regions from North America to APAC, while shaping the company’s narrative across the Web3 and gaming sectors.

The ideal candidate excels in storytelling and will collaborate closely with senior leadership to distill the company’s vision into compelling narratives for both earned and owned marketing channels. A proven track record in communications, PR strategy, or journalism is required, alongside strong relationships in the media industry. You must be an exceptional writer and communicator, able to simplify complex topics in finance and blockchain. Candidates with experience in crypto, blockchain, and gaming will have a distinct advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and execute strategic PR campaigns, defining goals, tactics, and strategies to secure high-quality coverage in both crypto and traditional financial media.
• Leverage existing and build new media relationships within Web3, crypto trade press, and broader financial journalism. Experience in gaming media is a plus.
• Identify opportunities for press and thought leadership, securing timely placements in key stories.
• Collaborate with the Executive Team to refine the company’s messaging and develop talking points for products and media engagements.
• Oversee the performance and relationships with external PR agencies.
• Contribute to partner and product announcements, including press releases, opinion pieces, and thought leadership content.
• Increase the company's media visibility and provide measurable reporting on PR campaign success.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in PR, communications strategy, or journalism with a focus on technology, finance, or blockchain sectors.
• Strong media relationships in crypto and financial journalism; gaming media experience is a plus.
• Exceptional writing and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial and blockchain concepts.
• Experience working with global teams and managing media relations across North America and APAC regions.
• Background in crypto, finance, and blockchain, with an understanding of the impact of tokenization in industries such as infrastructure, investment, and gaming.
• Ability to collaborate with senior leadership on narrative development and brand storytelling.
• Willingness to travel for media events and conferences.
• Experience in managing external PR agencies and tracking the performance of PR campaigns.
