Job Title: Senior Leadership Role (Potential CFO Track)Location: North York, Canada (Hybrid)

Client Overview

We are excited to assist our client, a leading financial services company, in their search for a senior leadership member to support their growth and expansion. This role will play a pivotal part in shaping the financial and operational strategies of the organization while working closely with the CFO.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial oversight and leadership, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks (OSC, CIRO, IICRO).
• Support the CFO in financial planning, reporting, and analysis for key subsidiaries.
• Lead and oversee financial operations, ensuring alignment with corporate strategies and goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies, auditors, and stakeholders.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s growth objectives.
• Monitor key performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and present actionable recommendations to senior leadership.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 5 years in financial services, asset management, or a related field.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
• Certification: CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant) is mandatory.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Experience with OSC, CIRO, and IICRO-regulated entities is a significant asset.
• Additional Training: Completion of the CSI Chief Financial Officer and Partners, Directors, and Senior Officers Courses is a strong advantage.
• Skills: Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills. Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and collaborate with senior executives.

Nice to Have

• Experience in cryptocurrency or blockchain-related industries.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies in financial services and asset management.
